Meet the Kays

Nestled in Darlington in the Perth Hills, Log Cabin Art is home to creative couple Belinda and Ian Kay surrounded by wildlife, friends and a thriving art community.

An established glass artist and renowned art curator and judge, Belinda has actively contributed to Perth’s art world for many years, and curated 100+ exhibitions. Her artistic practice spans all forms of glass works, and, more recently, slow stitching and mixed media, drawing ongoing inspiration from her life and art in the Perth Hills. Her diverse and ongoing passion for all things creative shines through in her detailed and delightful works, each piece telling its own story.

Following careers in forestry, journalism and manufacturing, Ian continues to foster his lifelong passion for creating both practical and engaging art. Transforming recycled timber, metal and found objects into sculptural and mixed media works, his often playful and whimsical creations enchant and delight. His works have earned industry recognition, including the 2017 Wanneroo Community Art Award and multiple acquisitions by the Hale Art Boarders.
